My bad, I've been racing too much and not paying enough attention to the forum! Just accepted the friend request, and I'll definitely be there tomorrow night.

I hated the game yesterday morning but now that I've put about 10 hours into the game I'm lovin it. Regardless of its shortcomings. I even did some racing with a standard car. :O

I have a done up 135i and let me tell you this thing kicks some serious ass. We should def do a 135 race the z4 aint all that nice.

And they added a hp limit and some other restrictions today.

Ok, so now I just want to know what are the rules? I got the car. How far can we go with it? So far I have not gone crazy with it, just the basics, and a CF hood. I am about to buy tires. I will get a set of the sport and the racing just in case.

There won't be a restriction on driving aids or tires. While I enjoy the added challenge of sports/comfort tires, I like the go-kartyness of racing tires.

and as a follow up questions - does anyone know if I'll be able to get my cell phone bluetooth earpiece to work? Is that something that PS3 does (I've only used the plug-in style on xbox)?


Sargaris - Tire question - So, there IS a way to fix the tire for the race - good deal, glad to hear that can be done. Do we all need to 'own' those tires that we will use? What is the plan to run for the first race night? I'd say make it interesting and use one of the sport tires...

Also - are we going to put restrictions on ABS/TCS/etc.?

There are already 16 people signed up to race, however , some of them have not responded to my friend request. In order to have a full grid and let the people in that want to participate I will give the remaining people on the list of 16 (see the first post of the first page of the thread) until tomorrow at 9PM Eastern to add me (littlemooney) / respond to my friend request and I will begin adding those that want to race in their places.

Be online (on ps3) at 9 PM Eastern tomorrow, I will send the friend requests out at 9 PM. I will add names to the list in the order that I recieve a confirmation that you have accepted my friend request until all the spots are filled. If for some reason not everyone has shown up in the race lobby by 9:50 PM Eastern (10 minutes before the race starts,) then I will send out invitations via. a message on PS3 for the remaining people to join in. I think this is the only fair way to handle it so dont taze me if you think its whack.
