There was some TV advertizing these past weeks for a new movie. "Monsters". It seems a micro-budget flick (rumoured $15k) with limited monster scenes. More like a thriller. After doing some research, it seemed that it is a movie that had a first life on TV, then got remastered for cinema, instead of following the usual opposite path. Will that be a new trend?
BTW "Monsters" is an okay movie if you don't expect to see monsters (or very little of them). A mix of "Cloverfield", "Crazies" and "District 9". Not as dark as "The road" though.
How to shoot a low budget, yet promising, movie.
