I spent yesterday afternoon reading the whole thing, epic adventure. I love how all the "wheelers" want to jump in about winches/lockers. I'm sure if it was a medical forum, a bunch of doctors would talk about every dangerous disease they could have gotten. Maybe there is some religion/philanthropy forum that would talk about the churches and children. And I'm sure some NRA forum would say you need an Abrams tank with a few chain guns to drive through there.

Just finished! Really good read. I wish he had all the post together so you could read all together. Almost makes me want to buy a land cruiser or older G class mercedes and head off to Alaska (not close to Congo, but could be fun)
