The car itself is a replica, BUT these were actually built back in the day.

http://www.brabus.com/cars4sale.php?...07&kategorie=3 - its for sale or was for sale... no idea

    http://190rev.net/forums/showthread....370#post405632 - some vague info

    Here's a video from 1991:

    Some more stuff I found...

Afew pics of 190s in the Brabus history section including the V8 engine squeezed into a 190 engine bay. Also a 3.6 24v like mine http://www.brabus.com

    Cool alternative to the 2.3/5-16.

You can usually find C36 AMG parts cars pretty cheaply because the auto gearbox and/or electronics tend to fail before 100K miles, either of which is a very expensive fix.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Cosworth-designed four bangers. I would definitely prefer to have a proper 16v engine in the car. Just like the E30 M3. Sure, it's faster with an S50 under the hood, but there's just something extra special about that howling S14 under the hood.

I want one so badly. Impossible to find in a 5spd.

It looked pretty sad when I got it.

    Rear damage.

A few days later. I'll probably repaint the lid this summer.

I've since replaced this steering wheel with a smaller diameter wheel that uses the same airbag.

A couple of months ago with E320 wheels. I also have some E320 4 pot brakes to install. The ABS module and stock brakes are identical (except for the bolt pattern) to the E30.

Other than the timing chain the engine is a lot like the M20. It was still running KEjet at this point.
