Japanese nuclear authorities said that there was a high possibility that nuclear fuel rods at a reactor at Tokyo Electric Power's Daiichi plant may be melting or have melted, Jiji news agency reported on Saturday.
The weirdest thing is that a couple months ago I read some guy's blog that said a huge quake will hit in mid March. I was reading about HAARP.

yea i dunno about sendai. Most phone lines are down and power is randomly on. If you're in shizuoka, chances are you're ok. Anyone east it gets iffy :(

I heard back from my family. They are ok. Safe at least.
Where were they?
My room mate hasn't been able to contact anyone in her family. Her aunt and grandmother live up north near sendai, her mom and dad in tokyo. I think the phone lines are dead in certain places and cell phones are probably jammed with calls from around the world...
From the pictures ive seen its absolutely awful whats happened.
