when i saw trailers for the Hangover II, i figured it would be a movie about dudes that got drunk, did stupid stuff, then had a really sappy come together moment at the end. not gonna bother seeing it, the first one wasn't even that memorable.

How about a spoiler alert? Damn dude. That's just wrong. There's some of us that like to go see a movie with out it being ruined. I won't even watch the trailer if I think it's a movie I'll like. Most of the time I'll only watch the first 10 seconds.

you really know absolutely nothing about the movie from what was said. If you saw any previews or posters or even heard the name "Hangover: Part II", then you can infer what shenanigans might have transpired.

yea it was similar to the first, but like other have said, did you REALLY expect it to be THAT different? Regardless of a similar plot and storyline, it was really funny.

The first one was genius.

I saw Part II last night... I laughed three of four times at most. It was the EXACT same plot as the first one. It just wasn't as surprising as the first one was. It may have had something to do with the fact that both of the writers of the original had nothing to do with this one. It was just a greed-grab for cash.

Don't waste your $ on theater prices. Not surprising it's getting horrible reviews.
