Funny how Philadelphia sports fans get a bad rap for being so offensive and brashly opinionated, but yet last year when we lost the stanely cup in our city none of that type of rioting happened. I guess we only get violent when we win?

No I did not forget the rioting. Did I say Boston's fan base is above that?

I commented on the Term " Masshole" it's been around for quite some time. Looting and destroying your own city because your "Team" won or lost well that has not been around to long.

That term has been around since the 70's.

I think the stupid thing about the riots in Vancouver was that it's daylight you idiots....they will prosecute you for doing stupid stuff. I have never understood the Mob mentality of looting and destroying my own town. I can see doing it to somebody else's but not your own.

I think it's mostly because Boston is full of tubby, ignorant douchebags. There's a reason everyone hates your city.

fwiw - I have some friends in Vancouver..

Most are safe in their homes and are mortified about what has happened. It’s definitely a ‘bad apple’ thing.

What I don't get is the senseless magnitude of the rioting in their home city – that just floors me.

The fans in Rogers Arena were booing Bettman, I was proud that almost everyone stayed to watch Boston hoist the cup. I was cheering for the Nucks, but Boston was the clear away the better team tonight, good for them. Thomas got an ovation, as he should, he was fabulous. Milan is a great BWC kid I played with him, hes still a great guy. And I'm glad he won a cup, and I cant wait to see him when he brings it home.

That being said I'm so disappointed with the so-called "fans" out trashing Downtown Vancouver, we don't deserve the Cup and the Hockey Gods will make sure we don't win one for a long time. That serves us right.
