Things that creep you out

Two of my good friends hate needles too. I never understood it, I kinda like it when it pierces through my skin. Especially when giving blood, you can see the blood flowing into the chamber from your body. It just fascinates me how that hole in the skin and the vein wall close up so quickly, and everything else heals that was damaged by the needle on its way in. Cool stuff.Leave a comment:

I hate it when things move by themselves. One night, about 6 years ago, my friend and I were at my computer watching a movie while drinking beer. I cracked open my third beer, took a sip, then put it down on the desk. A minute later the can moved about 10 inches in a fraction of a second right to the edge of the table where it stopped. It wasn't sliding, there was no condensation on the beer, and it moved and stopped quickly. My friend stopped the movie right away, and we were just staring at it for a minute without saying a word. That was fucking creepy, I still can't explain how it happened. I'm just glad my friend saw it too, this way I know I'm not crazy. When little things aren't like I know I left them, when I know I had them a certain way a moment ago. I swear things move themselves at my shop at night. Earlier this week I came in and my vacuum hose was disconnected.
And some times really late at night like 1-3am If im vacuuming or polishing ill hear someone yell "HEY!" in the white noise. It freaks me out so bad I have to turn off the machine im using and check all the locked doors.
I hate insects. Especially cockroaches. We had exterminators come to my previous apartment twice, and there were roaches everywhere still. Since then any time I feel like something alive touches my skin at night (it could be the sheet, blanket, or just a breeze) I jump right up, turn on the lights, and inspect my whole bed, look under my pillow, shake my blanket, etc. before I can go back to sleep in peace. I can't even eat shrimp or lobster 'cause they look like red cockroaches to me.Last edited by Conki; 08-17-2011, 06:55 AM.Leave a comment:

So....I was cutting up cats yesterday to take to the recycler, and I look down at my vise, and it's covered, covered in ants. The whole corner of my work bench is crawling with the dam things. Apparently they had a nest inside the heat shield (e46 cats).
I got my butane torch and fried the motherfuckers, but I gotta admit, seeing the whole corner of your work bench come alive is pretty creepy.Leave a comment:

darkness? I could never sleep with any light ever. Heavy shades tacked to the window trim. Then I cover all little lights and clock.Leave a comment:
