    Gomco clamp...

-Anesthetic should be applied (though it is a historically recent addition, dating only to approximately the early 1990s).
-The foreskin is gripped with two hemostats (needle-nosed pliers) and a blunt object is forced between his foreskin and glans, tearing the connective tissue.
Once separated, a hemostat is used to crush his foreskin lengthwise in order to reduce bleeding.
-Next, the foreskin is sliced lengthwise through the crushed tissue (dorsal slit) to allow space to insert the circumcision device..[9]
-The bell of the Gomco clamp is placed over the glans, and the foreskin is pulled over the bell.
-The base of the Gomco clamp is placed over the bell, and the Gomco clamp's arm is fitted.
After the surgeon confirms correct fitting and placement (and the amount of foreskin to be excised), the nut on the Gomco clamp is tightened, causing the clamping of nerves and blood flow to the foreskin.
-The Gomco clamp is left in place for about five minutes to allow clotting to occur, then the foreskin is severed using a scalpel.
-The Gomco's base and bell are then removed, allowing for bandaging of the penis.

I am, and very gladly so. Too weird to have that extra blanket shit on there... like a snake going into hiding or something.

Get the kid snipped, by the age of 16 he will be very happy you did.

When we were expecting and didn't yet know the sex of the baby, my wife informed me we would have it circumcised if it was a boy. She reasoned it would be uncomfortable for the boy to look different from his father if he was not circumcised. We had a girl, so I don't know. I agree it's an outdated practice.

I had my son sniped last year. No big deal either. The morning after he was born the OB came by and did it. I personally think it looks weird and ugly without the clip. Try and be normal people.

Not sure if the sensitivity argument is true because mine is plenty sensitive.

I have a naturally good looking penis. When it's fully erect there is no loose skin, and I like the nature-provided blanket that protects the head from the environment when the little guy's just chillin'. Haven't had any girls complain before either, and I like having a sensitive tip.

that's something totally different, they cut the clitoris so they cannot feel anything.

Thanks for all the advice. I will be considering it heavily for the next few weeks as for pros/cons. The hygiene reasons dont really concern me because women get just as dirty, its all about teaching good hygiene. Religion won't play a roll either. Finances neither. Guess that means it just comes down to appearance/sexual...i dont want him feeling out of place or girls making him feel different. Maybe by the time he is older, it will be more common to see it not cut. Now i wonder if the people saying hell no, are not cut? That has to play a role right?

My ex had her son clipped. There was an issue or some shit and now he needs reconstructive sergury of his penile skin. First time I was asked to change a diaper I called her to ask if it was normal.
