DUDE, you should raise fucking hell on them! As long as everyone was of age, there was nothing illegal in the house and you have proof that you own the house, you are completely innocent and they should have to pay for the damages. The cops will lie to you and say you're SOL because it's their asses on the line.

Wow that sucks. Also telling the cops they can't enter rarely works. Apparently when the door is open and you say they don't have permission to come in, they can use the '"parable cause" which is bull, and enter. I think I seen first hand 3 out of 4 instances where my friends tried that and the cops still pushed into the house. One cop even said, "oh yeah? (Pushes the door and walks in)...who said that? Who said I can't come in?".

Well as much as the cops are assholes and should pay for the damage I would still blame the neighbors. they should have came and nocked on your door first and asked what the hell you guys were doing.

typical of our modern police force. they are not held accountable for their actions when the fuck up or act stupidly, they hide behind a badge a gun and corrupt cronieism, You are guilty until you prove your self innocent.

I believe the term jack booted thugs applies here
