TacticalGamer is good. (people use TS3 too) But i dont have the AK. Too much money for 2 dlcs. I wish EA was cool enough to give us both DLC's in one for like $15. Sounds way more reasonable.

Arma2 lacks polish, and is just extremely clunky. Arma 3 had better deliver (hurr-durrr), but really I hope Arma3 gets pushed back more so it's as good as it can be at launch.

Question for you PC players: How many PC servers run hardcore without the mini map? or where could I look up stats like that?

Answered my own question - apparently setting custom rules like no mini map etc forces the server to be un-ranked, so no one runs them. Fucking ridiculous...but it is an arcade shooter with vehicles, so you can't expect DICE to put too many resources into "ultra-hardcore."


Oh yeah, the reason I came here, broke down and bought a PC copy during the labor day 50% off sale. What servers do the R3V master race frequent, and any suggestions for some good hardcore servers that are located in North America? CMWgaming are the best I've found so far.

Armored Kill will be nice when it's released for non-premium people. Fuck you very much EA.

Id guess a decent amount. But if your looking for realism most just play arma2.

Also, whoever says BF players play the obj more than in COD.....lol ok. It's about even. People in BF dick around waiting for vehicles or try and snipe from years away. COD players dick around camping for Killstreaks and try and trickshot.

Finally re-bought BF3 after scratching the crap outta my disk 2 weeks into it because my box closed the tray on it.

Enjoying it. I just started attempting to fly jets/helis. I like them, but i feel like its futile in vehicles. Helis are the only thing that can support a team. Jets are just fucking rogue.

I think the game would honestly be more fun without Jets and tanks. Jeeps and helis are all thats needed. Helis to support from air, jeeps to transport.

Thats just me, still having fun so far.

I fuck up ground units with my jet. Only thing I do with the jet

They better just remove the fag rounds from the game though. Noobs are going to go crazy on close quarters maps with the fags.

Meh looks too much like COD to me, they're gunna have to fix up hit detection more still if that shit is gunna work too.
