Unleash that hell on ANY of the larger maps. It fucks peoples days up. One squad can eliminate nearly every enemy vehicle.. If that isn't working as a team, I don't know what is.
It works even better if you sacrifice the assault for another javelin. Countless hours saying "Missle 1 away", And hearing "Missle 2 away".
    Boom.
    "Viper lazed..."

That's just one scenario. Try having 2 jets communicating with each other, dropping tandem guided missles on unsuspecting AA Vehicles. Followed by the viper with the other 2 in the squad to clean up and hover while the jets maintain the airspace. Allowing a venom full to the hilt with another squad to assault the flag.

It's really fun to bring awesome tactical coordination to random servers. People get piiisssssed.
    ;)
No no, I agree, and I think I even said that I liked how the soldiers were setup in this game. I like the "medic" having assault rifles, and the "ammo" guys having the LMGs.

However, in the real world of playing, I have only been on a "real", work together, not be selfish squad like 3 times. The rest of the time, its a bunch of 9 year old kids that take a tank, or helo all by themselves (leaving a seat open), and just fly around trying to shoot down jets, but just end up crashing into a mountain. THat always takes 1 or 2 guys out of a "sQUAD", thus defeating the purpose of the squad...... and leaving me to run 8 miles from the main spawn on Caspian boarder, because with that kind of playing, its obvious we have no objectives.

A "good" match for me is when 1 other person on my squad has a mic, likes to give real information (as opposed to yelling at his dog to stop barking), and isn't 9 years old (or is smart enough to know how to setup an ambush, or take an objective).

A "good" match usually only happens a few nights a week.

I would LOVE to get a real squad together (PS3), and setup a time where we could all be on at the same time.

I'm a little different, in that I LIKE the close quarters fighting. I HATE the openness of the BF3 maps. They are vehicle dependent, and that take away from the "team" mentality.

My all time favorite map, on any FPS game.

I understand BF3 is a different setting in the world, and a different "story".... but I really miss the "hide and seek" aspect that BC2 seemed to have. Sneaking through the trees to get behind the enemy, then going crazy with the knife.

If you get stuck in the main spawn point of Caspian Boarder without a vehicle, you spend the entire match just running back to the fight, or sitting and waiting for a vehicle to spawn. I'll take the jungle of Valparaiso, any day. It still had tanks available, and buggies, but you didn't NEED them to stay in the battle.

But I think overall, the maps are better on BC2. I really like Bazaar, Metro, and Seine Crossing on BF3, but the others are just "meh". I don't think there was a bad map on BC2.

    Agree 100%.
The newly released map packs are all I play now actually.

One thing that bothers me a bit is that Bf3 became wayyyyyy too close-quarter battle-ish.
