Chances are I will be on tomorrow. Giving it as a gift to the womans younger brother who's been playing skyrim.
PC. TurboJake1985. Feel free
I did this all last night in the viper on wake island (BF3). I think I died twice playing for 4 hours loaded. Was hilarious talking to the squad in a slur. Giving them drunken backup.
I don't remember all of it though, So I most likely died more often. But the rest of the guys praised me today telling me I need to drink and play more...Leave a comment:

The small jet space being small is what battle field was always about and I find most maps reasonable for the type of flight physics the game has. It's not a flight sim game and the controls are fairly rudimentary.
I still didn't download the map pack and I'm heading home for a while soon so I probably won't until the new year! How is it?Leave a comment:

personally i think the air space is too small for jets. by the time you get lined up to your target you got to turn around or you go out of bounds. air space should be 3 times what it is. also when on the ground planes seem to fly really slow compared to real jets flying overhead but wen yuor in one they go real fast, i dont get it.Leave a comment:

I can pick my own servers but I was trying to get the last unlock for attack helis and I would pick Caspian Boarder and just enter any conquest match instead of flipping through the list.
Also I did find it easier to play COD drunk compared to BF3. I can't fly as easily while drunk because I never seem to look far enough ahead to avoid light poles and shit while flying low.Leave a comment:

I used to play BF2 shitfaced all the time. It was especially fun to fly helicopters while loaded.Me and a buddy noticed something related to drinking and the difference between BF2 bad company and the Call of Duty line of games.
The more and more I drank when playing call of duty, the better I seemed to get, or at least stayed the same. The more I drank playing BF2, the shittier I got because I would be too drunk to pay attention to where the enemy was.
We basically summed up that call of duty was easier for us to be a drunk asshat and run around bunny hopping and shooting people in the face, whereas BF2 took some degree of skill to stay competitive and alive, and drinking severely diminished that skill.Leave a comment:

COD titles are easier. But most say they're also more fun. Hell, in Modern warfare games, it only takes 2-3 shots to kill. You dont have to aim that well to be able to get a kill. Battlefield has more recoil and more shots to kill. Hence, you have to have a better shot. And in battlefield, you cant see the enemy as well, which makes it harder to do well drunk (impaired vision and such)Me and a buddy noticed something related to drinking and the difference between BF2 bad company and the Call of Duty line of games.

COD titles are made to be easy to attract new audiences. Easy learning curves and fun, fast paced game play is what players enjoy in the arcade shooter that is Call of duty.
Battlefield is made to be an experience, that submerses the player in it. (at least MP) The great graphics, skill and precision in finding and killing your enemy is what gets people addicted to this game. Its large scale warfare and steep learning curve is what keeps players playing BF titles.Leave a comment:
