I finished watching "Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai" and it was good, I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to another season. And the ending song is highly addictive. I also finished watch "Kakumeiki Valvraver" the second and final half. I don't know why but it got me amped up. The main character is a wuss, but L-Elf is a super bad ass. The story and ending were really predictable but it was still really good. I said that I would wait to see the second half before recommending it. Well I recommend it. Giant robots, war, friendship, sacrifice, a little bit of humor it is good, check it out.
I looked on Crunchyroll and they have a lot of good ones. I have just recently watched "Kyoukai no Kanata" and "Outbreak Company" and I really liked both of them. Both are 12 episodes each so if you just want something to watch before bed or something, check them out. "Naruto" is a good story but I am pretty sure you have probably been watching it.
I really liked "Hitman, Reborn". It took about 12 episodes before it got good but after that non stop awesome. A big recommendation for that and it is 203 episodes. That would keep you busy for a while.
I saw Crunchyroll also had "Eyeshield 21". I also highly recommend that as well. It was great anime in my opinion. It is also another long one and very good, 145 episodes.
I only looked at the first list that showed up and I saw too many to choose from. "Bakemonogatari" was on there and it is one of my favorite. "Spice and Wolf" is one of my favorite as well.
But the one I would recommend to you if you haven't seen it and in my opinion is one of the best anime would be "Hajime no Ippo". It is older but awesome. There are multiple seasons plus OVA's and movies probably 150+ to watch. Read up on the ones I have listed and if any of them sound good check them out.
Best is going to be different for everyone. I have seen way too many anime to be able to pick a favorite, and taste is all over the place. I hope this helps. Let me know if you like any of them.
I read your post about "Soul Eater" and "AOT" being your favorite. "D. Grayman" fits with these two but I don't know if Crunchyroll has it. And the ending leaves you hanging, not one of my top picks. But if it is the flavor you are looking for, check it out.

I liked "Kore wa Zombie desu ka", where the girl with the chainsaw explains about Santa Claus, lol. I finished watching "Infinite Stratos 2". It was good, but I liked the first season better.
In the spirit of the holiday is your favorite holiday themed anime, can be a episode or movie. Mine is the episode of angle beats where he regains his memory and is taking his sick little sister out on the town and carried her on his back
Mine would be either the ef series (mainly melodies) and the Toradora ep(s) that took place at Christmas.
