I think the LED flashlights go a bit overboard with the brightness. They should have two LED's in each flashlight (high/low)

SureFire 6P LED have several of them and have given many away as gifts over the years.

I use mine nearly every day for something, whether it be looking at the inside of a welded pipe, or trying to find my phone that fell under the seat of the truck, or fixing something that I need lots of light to see

To bad the 6P LED has been discontinued

A guy i was working with had one of these a couple days ago. He said he picked it up for 10 bucks at a plumbing store. LED, Magnetic on both ends, and extendable.

6 D-Cell Maglite with an LED conversion.. Didn't go mental powerful on the LED, but it's so much brighter and the batteries have lasted 2yrs now and still as bright as 1st install!

Always in the car with me, in case of emergencies..

I splurged a few years ago on a Sure-Fire Backup. I use it a lot, especially when working on cars in tight spaces. It also has the oomph to provide light while welding when the halogens aren't convenient.

95% of the time, though, my iPhone is my flashlight.
