We've always had these rules, we just need to start enforcing them much more.
Too many members trying to dance with beezies without a care in the world.Leave a comment:

Mine is a little bit big, yes, but its not unreasonable because I'm not running any quotes. Just like I'm not going to go around measuring everyone's pixel sizes.
If I said "no more quotes in signatures" Then this wouldn't be as big of an issue, but I'm not prepared to deal with that shit show.
So here is a good way to figure this out.
If you have a big picture don't run any quotes.
If you have a small picture, and you want a quote, just run one.
If you don't want a picture, run up to three quotes.
You can run what you want in any order, doesn't have to be what I just suggested. Just keep it at an acceptable size.
We are still thinking about GIFs so just deal with them for now.Leave a comment:

I hate when people post sigs of cars other than e30s.
Also, when I get a message about my sig, I just reply that baby, I was born that way.Leave a comment:

Thank god, seriously. Even on my home comp screen some people's sigs take up half the damn screen.
And lets be honest, most of the huge sigs were bad pics of cars, + about 4 not-so-funny quotes that make no sense.Leave a comment:

you could always just save the image, open it in any photo editor and resize it to the restrictions. Or break out a ruler and have fun measuring your screen.
Your call.Leave a comment:

Start by measuring the actual width of your monitor in inches (the screen only, not the frame, duh). Take this number and divide it into the resolution of your display. So if you are running at 1024x768, then divide 1024 by the width of your monitor. This is your actual DPI. Now measure (in inches) your signature as it is displayed on the screen. Take this number and multiply it by your actual DPI you found earlier. This should be roughly (within 10 or so pixels) of how big your signature is.

What sigs? All but a few members decide to be a holes when I brought the issue up. I'm happy this is happening, now I might just turn sigs back on!!Leave a comment:
