my dad passed away at the age of 93. he smoked for 40 years and quit cold turkey when he was 65. everybody else, and i mean everybody i have ever lost in my family has been directly related to cigarets. lost my mother at the age of 54 to lung cancer, grandmother emphazima, same with 2 uncles and the list goes on. boy i could rant on this subject. i do smoke weed ocasionally so i don't wana be a hipocrit but for those cancer sticks to be legal just don;t make no sense. i know, it's the money, bull shit, they down right kill people and lets not even get into the financial burden it puts on the health care system.

Never have, but nobody that I was close to smoked while I was growing up either. Can't stand the smell of it, costs money, and just isn't good for you, thus I never had any interest.

I attend quite a few R3V social events.

Smoking is not common at all for the non-drinking events.

I would say that smoking increases at least 20X, (yes,seriously. 1 smoker = 20 smokers, no joke) for a drinking R3V social event.

It's all good but those same fellows that have "no problems" still can't run very far. I know, I smoke off and on as I'm trying to quit and have been smoking for like... 9 years. You don't realize what you CAN'T do until you stop smoking for 3+ months and pick it up again. It's stupid how much endurance/power you really lose.

Watch a patient who smokes complete a cardiac stress test on a treadmill, then watch a patient who doesn't smoke complete the same test. There is no question of which patient really has "no problems".

I cant stand cigs/weed or anything related to that shit. Its annoying when kids smoke weed and they post it on facebook ect and how they think theyre cool cause they smoke.
