I keep a bottle of Burberry London in there at all times. I've tried car air fresheners but pretty much all of them smell terrible.

Get the baking soda fridge packs (The ones that have a screen on the sides and cost like 99 cents). Toss one under both the driver and passenger seat. That coupled with your favorite air freshener (Yankee Candle clean cotton) and you're good to go. No BIG D needed.

A box of Downy dryer sheets, stuffed all over the inside of the car, trunk and in between the seats. Do this for a few months and you'll feel/smell "so fresh and so clean, cleeeean".

coffee beans/grounds do help get rid of smells. You gotta leave the car outside in the sun so that the interior gets hot with the coffee beans/grounds inside
