I think you sir, are seriously mislead here. See what Jose Diaz realizes, is that a 15 year old kid, simply do not possess the finger strength to be able to squeeze out a bullet from the hand gun that would match the impact of the bullet squeezed out of the hand gun of a cop.

The 15 year olds inferior finger strength would only result in 10-20% of damage versus the 100% of a cop. This is why the cop should've let the kid shoot him in the head, only to later gently, but firmly tell him to freeze.

"It's bull-- that the cop thought his life was in danger," said Jose Diaz, 23. "Come on, it's a 15-year-old kid with a handgun. He's a cop."

I read an article awhile back which showed that police try to keep you over 20 feet away. The reasoning being that an attacker could deploy a knife a cover those 20 feet before the officer drew his weapon. There is a video on youtube I am trying to find that illustrates training with a target moving towards you at sprint speed. The goal: draw and get a doubletap before the target reaches you. It is actually very difficult, especially in a high stress situation. If you draw a weapon, any weapon less than 30 ft away from an officer, expect to get shot. And I wouldnt blame the officer.

For the ccw'ers on here try it. Get a fake gun and fake knife, or whatever your poison. Get a friend to stand at 20 feet. Have him randomly charge and see if you can draw and even get on target before he sticks you. I think the results will be sobering.

    Heres one article.

We really need some form of qualification to reproduce.
The cop is 100% justified in his actions.
    No sympathy from me.

Maybe if someone would make a viable replacement out of something it wouldn't be so bad, maybe, a dog house? Perhaps a Hamster cage?

I blame it on the colorful girls pants that all the young kids are wearing today, cuts off the circulation to the balls, and there you have it..... dumb ass kids.

The world has always been f**ked, and there have always been idiots, even 100s of years ago, it just wasn't as easy for everyone to know what is going on all over the world.

Parents, kid, society, all can share the blame... To an extent. Parent's for not instilling values in their child, society for making the kids feel they need to arm themselves, and the Child himself for not taking the value of life a little more seriously.

However, a Police officer can not be blamed for shooting an armed suspect. If the kid got shot, it can be assumed he pulled the gun. No one wants to shoot a child, no matter how corrupt you are.

When people realize the police aren't babysitters, there will be less of these instances happening daily.

Also, you have no idea of knowing what exactly happened, so no use speculating. Parents cant hold their children's hands 24/7, at some point they need to grow the fuck up. That kid didn't use his head, and now he wont grow up.
I couldve sworn Ive seen episodes of cops yelling out "Drop your weapon!" Its more of a command but even that is question asking if you want to die or not to the person with a gun. Im not saying the cop is in the wrong at all, all im saying is we really do not know if the gun was brandished or not so thats whatever. Kid had a gun when i can assure you he didnt need it if all he was doing was going to McD's so he got shot, it wouldve happened sooner or later by a cop or someone else.

Now the parenting issue, he is 14, he is his parents responsibility. There is a 10 o clock curfew for that area. As a responsible parent, sent an earlier curfew. Shit drive him to fckn McDonalds. If he gets in so much trouble as the article implies then have a tighter grip on how he is living his life. When he is 18 then let him mess that shit up. Parents need to be more disciplined these days period.
