Mine being impacted also had little pockets where food could get stuck and cause infections. When I went in for my pre-op, they removed a chunk of food that smelled so bad I gagged.

It makes me wonder why wisdom teeth come in the first place. Most people end up getting them pulled. Whats the point of them? to makes you spend lots of money getting them pulled? and cause pain?

I think they should at least have some pupose. thats why i still have mine.
Sometimes i think dentists say you need them pulled so you spend money. Mine told me the same thing, but I said "I want to see the x-ray first!". I saw nothing but space! Its like they were meant to be there.
They kept saying they could cause problems in the future, but ive had them for over 2 or 3 years now and no problems, other than the occasional accidental tounge bite. (dat shit hurts)

Mine were actually painful too. With the oxycodone it still felt like an ache in the back of my head. Throbbing pain.

I was glad when that shit was over and I could go back to work too. I mainly missed driving.

MIne got infected... and the infection spread to my entire head, because the dumbass Ortho didn't believe they were infected. He treated me for dry socket.

Few days later, I was spending a lovely time in the ER, puking, with a massive headache. My head was the shape and color of the kool-aid man's body. Ohhhh-Yeeeaaahhhh.

They filled me up with antibiotics, and I was good to go a few days after that.

i had my bottom ones almost fully grown in. top ones where without roots. so that counts towards it. but still, seems like a week full of good food and laziness to me. dont have to do summer courses, just sit back and play dawnguard. and portal 2 once i am allowed to drive
