Here they tear down the old ones and build a new one a mile down the road. People go nuts for a couple years, then it's back to the terrible reviews from the health inspector in the news papers. I guess it's easier to completely rebuild than keep the place clean.Leave a comment:

Might as well be one. That place sucks. I don't see what the big hype is. Last time I went in, I was stuck eating a pile of grease that is a flavorless burger and the fries taste like peanut butter because of the peanut oil they use.Leave a comment:

Five Guys....I go there at least twice a week for lunch. Never gets old. Never finish all the fries. Always get a refill on my way out the door. Always at least $18.
Fuck BK, fuck McD, fuck every other burger place, Red Robin included. 5 Guys, hands down, the best damn burgers. Fuck making them at home. I don't get a warm greeting from the black dude with an awesome mustache/goatee and the girl who wears too much makeup but has a nice butt when I make my own burgers at home.

5 Guys blows. I did exactly what markseven did, thinking my first time was just a bad experience.
The burgers are exactly and taste exactly like what I can make at home with regular products bought from Vons or something. I guess the majority of you guys haven't had your mother or S/O make you a regular burger before. I don't necessarily hate it, but it's literally nothing special.

Honestly.. In-n-out is a lot of hype, but there aren't burgers that compare one bit. That's all they make, so you know theyre gonna do it right.
5-Guys on the other hand.. I got say, I was sceptical at first, but the selection of toppings was phenomenal. However, the meat burger itself was okay. Better burger in my book than all other places, but just a cut below In-n-Out. Honestly though, I'd prefer 5-Guys if it wasn't for the price; the toppings are just... YUM!!
5-guys fries blows In-N-Out out of the water though. No comparison..Leave a comment:

5 guys is pretty awesome for the occasional mega fresh greaseburger. You must eat it as soon as you get handed the bag though, their burgers turn into soggy messes within five minutes.Leave a comment:

Nope, in-and-out is a ton of hype and ok burgers. 5guys is ok, but kind of pricey. I took my dad there this weekend. $20+ for 2 singles with everything, 1 lg fry, 2 lg drinks was a bit much. They are not bad, just high priced for what you get.
5 guys does have the digital coke machines though (don't try orange coke, it is FOUL!) & They do have malt vinegar for your fries, both are a plus in my book.Leave a comment:

The one time I went to 5 guys a few years ago while on a trip (when there were not nearly as many locations), It was friggin delicious. I left extremely satisfied and happy.Leave a comment:
