To me it'd be worth not having the payment anymore. Also running full coverage on it sucks too.

Set yourself goals that you write down.
Concentrate on downsizing and not adding to the "collection"

The goals serve as a step by step to track progress.

Revisit those goals weekly to keep the focus and make notations related to obstacles to overcome so that will help lead to the final desired outcome.

Dont find reasons not to let go of the vehicles but instead take action. Good intentions dont sell cars. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

keep 5er, keep rover, I'll ask my dad if he wants a project 6er :)

the e46 and e36 are worth the most anyway. It sounds like the rover is your getshitdonenoarguments vehicle and e28's are too damn good to let go of...a few thou into an e28 can make for a really nice ride

Well.... Now there is a red vert for sale locally. I know the owner of the dealer and he said it was a trade in. 1992 325i auto. Pretty good condition. Owner said he'd let me ha e it at wholesale since he knows I'm into these cars.

Quandary: it has crossed mind to take the m3 down there and say hey.... You pay it off and give me that e30 and were good. This would eliminate my payment and the high insurance of the m3 And get me back into an e30.

    Thoughts?

I've ordered the parts to fix the srs and abs lights. Ive got paint to fix the rear bumper with. I'll redo the headliner on the cheap and roll on down.....if this seems like as good of an idea as I think it may be.....

Hey, Asian parents will force their son to sell all 6 cars and buy a 2012 corolla for him.

Honstly whether you store 5 cars(if you can't make yourself sell them) or sell 5 of them, just use one car throughout the year, it'll save lot more money and you can have much nicer stuff in few years.

I have 5 cars as well. The only thing that bothers me is moving them around. I drive every one of them as well. The 4 runner is for hauling stuff, the Jetta is for work, the GTI is for fun, the Jeep is for fun, and the E30 is my baby, and for hun. I have alot of fun BTW.
Why not just prioritize the fixes. Also, you need to insure them. If you aren't driving them, you don't need them. Let someone else enjoy the ones you don't, which by not driving them or insuring them, you clearly do not.

With that being said, it sounds like every car has a unique purpose for you, and a different value. Since you seem to be unsure on what to do, give yourself time. My recommondation, take all off the road but one. Store the rest. Establish yourself in life and dont worry about the cars, they arent going anywhere. Once you can manage it all in a healthy fashion, gradually get them up and running. Too much for now.

But as I said, I can only observe and recommend, my words are meaningless.

    Good Luck

Things are meant to be used and people are meant to be loved in this world.
But we are doing it exactly opposite. Loving things and using people.
    Result = life in chaos.
But i still love my e30. LOL...

Sounds like you should sell the 6 too but you're already convincing yourself you shouldn't.

Sometimes you have to let go.

    truth!
