Seriously though you need to trim the fat. It's to long to be so repetitive without words. If Ur just going with the instrumental, make it more dynamic and make it shorter. You have to make the person wanna listen to it so you need somthing to draw them in or peak their curiosity. Just like a book. If the beginning is boring and dull most people are going to get a bad impression.

You obviously do not understand the time, energy, and labor that goes into creating original drum samples, finding melody samples (only poser waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffless use sample libraries), and then putting it all together to create something original and new. I think there is some kind of misunderstanding. I may not have explained it very well. I'm just saying using FL is the easy part (the sampled library shit). It's pretty much eliminating a lot of the process and originality. I've never personally created sampled drum beats, but I have created samples themselfs, which is a very labor intensive task. I have nothing against using samples, I dig it. It's an art. Shit.. My automotive videos I made involved using songs that have nothing but sampled beats.

If he really does mean a "Producer" rather than a "Music Producer" as Thizzelle explained in the quote below, which I will admit that I misinformed the definition between the two. People use "Producer" as a fancy word in replacement of a sequencer.

But if you are trying to correct me in terms of a "Music Producer", then you are wrong. In a music studio, the role of a Music Producer does not change from styles of music. The music producer is kind of like the director of a film. The only reason why you may say the music producer is the person who makes the instrumental/beat is only because many people can complete this task alone without the need of a professional studio through softwares like FL studio. This software uses predesigned or sampled sounds that allow you to pick and choose in a order of which your prefer (a sequencer), essentially eliminating the roll of the mixing and mastering engineer.

I guess after typing this, youre right only under the conditions that a person who makes hiphop or electronic music in things like FL studio. The easy stuff.

In most cases the music producer is also a competent arranger, composer, musician or songwriter who can bring fresh ideas to a project. As well as making any songwriting and arrangement adjustments, the producer is also in charge of the creative mix.

I absolutely agree with you. The purpose of the music producer is to obviously manage the entire process like a director in a movie, as stated before. But the other big part to a music producers job is to convey HIS or ONE vision or idea of what the song should sound like to create less confusion or disagreements, which is where what you explained comes into play. Directors in movies do exactly the same thing all the time in order to obtain the finished product they visioned.
