Speed readers, how many on here?

I read one page about 1-3 min. I blow at reading.

My wife is a speed reader,think she said about 900 words a minute she reads. Pisses me off lol.

At around 250 words per page, she does a bit less then 4 pages a minute then. That's 15 seconds a page. So around 2.5 hours to read harry potter.

I can read Harry potter : deathly hallows in 30 seconds flat. In any language u want.
Ask me about the book and i will be able to answer it...
Too easy to fake it.

Never timed myself, but i'm a pretty quick reader. Its not uncommon for me to get through a 400-600 page novel in a day or two, and for whatever reason I retain a lot of the details. Really helped getting through all the stupid books we had to read in school :)

I wish i could read that fast...university would be SO much easier. I am pretty slow and typically have to re-read everything if I want to get a good grasp on the context. I could read a lot faster if I didn't speak it all out in my head, think about the meaning behind it (philosophy/psychology major), and then try to write notes about it all.

at 475-500wpm with a 90% comprehension rate didn't think that was too bad

I'm a slow reader and I have to read things over more than once. wa wa waaaa

I tried that infomercial speed reading when I was younger. I felt like he had more of a gift than an acquired skill.

Used to do it in middle school. I think I was in the 600 or so range, but it's between so long, I can't really remember.

i took the evelynn wood head sped redding coorse and my redding impraved won der fully. so did my comprension.
