I'm an FAA/JAA flight instructor. I teach European students (which is also what I once was) basic VFR and IFR flying in the Phoenix area. I work in small airplanes (Diamond DA20 and DA40), usually fly around 3-4 times a day. It's a great job but I'm getting ready to hopefully move on to something bigger back home in Europe. Chief gripes are ridiculous hours and working every single weekend.
Pay is kinda meh too, although work does cover my apartment and associated costs. I just feel it's way below the level of responsibility and danger involved in flying small airplanes in close to the busiest airspace worldwide. In any case, it beats a real job.

Job 1: Manage a small video/audio rental & event service company near Los Angeles.
Job 2: Freelance video engineering for feature film publicity events, travelling all over North America
for my clients.
Job 3: Freelance video projection tech for live theater events, mainly in Los Angeles.
Like many in the field, I dojust about anything my clients need relating to video production, webcasting, editing, etc.
And no, never worked in the porn business.
I work almost every day, including weekends, averaging 3 days off per month.
I often do not know what day it is, and have to be diligent about keeping an accurate calendar.
Thankfully I love what I do and have a very understanding wife who takes awesome care of me.
One of our largest clients I'm sure many people are familiar with due to teh hot wimmenz, and a certain anonymous Bugatti top speed run.

However, this job allows me the flexibility to do what I truly love and that is pursuing a career in the audio production field of studio recording/producing. Pay is good, and it's quite nice when there is no such thing as NSFW.
And the obvious question, surprisingly most of my day is not spent looking at porn.
