Manufacturing technician. All my work is with steel components for the auto industry. We use fixtures to assemble components which are then MIG welded by robots. There's also a lot of manual welding (MIG) that gets done if the robots screw up. It's boring, fast-paced, demanding work, but I've gotten to be one of the best guys on the floor (of about 50 people) who produces the most and knows how to fix problems. My talents have gained the interest of my supervisors, so hopefully I will be moving up to a weld tech position that would allow me to get more hands on with the robots and the fixtures instead of just shoving out parts all day. Hoping to hear something within the month :)

construction management. I coordinate between owners and subcontractors for projects ranging in the <$1m up to around $15m. Currently working on a co-gen landfill gas to energy project in Rhode Island. We just completed the switchyard to bumps the electricity produced from the plant up to 115kV and sends it out to the grid.

I worked in a body shop for a little while. Never had anything remotely cool come in, though. We did mainly work for a local Toyota dealer. Saw lots of waaaaaay smashed Prius' though, so it wasn't all bad.

Now that I'm back in school full time, I'm back to vulturing on E30's and hope to have my shop re-opened in the next couple months!

Also, if you register on our website w/ a username and password, you can buy a satellite (entire test and launch campaign included) with a credit card. We are the only smallsat company that does that.

Of course, you will need a hefty credit limit, at least $10 million for our smallest spacecraft.
On a serious note, though... What kind of government restrictions are placed on what you can and can't have a satellite do once in orbit?

Edit: Now that I've read my question, it seems insanely broad...

That's an impressive inventory.. It must be nice working with the best bikes availible. I've got a Fireblue S1000RR, love that bike..

I would show you guys pictures of what I do, but the monotony a bunch of pictures of modern BMW twin turbo V8's in various states of disassembly would bore you.
