NW Montana, and lately under a fucking Inversion, I think we had a blue hole in the clouds today for about 3 mins, but we were not lucky enough to get any of the direct sun. we could just see SKY for a change during the day, and a night it clears off, but as soon as the sun starts to come up it clouds over in the valley. You get up on one of the mountains above 5000' or so and its bright and clear and you look out over the valley and its just a big thick ass cloud

YES, this is exactly how I am! I love running and lifting weights, but I find I dont' keep it up when I should and just lose motivation to do anything...even stuff I usually love to do (chase chicks, drink, go to the gym etc.) I eat more crappy food and generally give up on myself much quicker than usual.

I am taking some D suppliments in my fish oils as well as on their own too.

    thanks for the advise

yes get a happy light and use it for about 20 mins ever morning after you wake up some and also take some Vitamin D3 supplements at a rate of 5000IU a day, and the occasional glass of whole/AKA vitamin D milk. If your a true Seasonal Affective Disorder Suffer you will notice an improvement in how you feel in about a week -10 days after you start your Happy Light treatments and Vitamin D infusions.

You feel like shit all the time...some call it depression I guess. I call it feeling liek shit all the time due to no sunlight. I'ts fairly common amongst west coast ppl. supposidly.

I refuse to use stimulants (sugar, coffee, Red bull, etc.). In the summer, obviously I dont' have this problem.

started a topic Anyone use a SAD light?

    Anyone use a SAD light?

Figure I need one since moving out to this God forsaken, rainy west coast shithole

Anyway, as you can see, the weather has taken a toll on my emotions. I grew up on the prairies where even if it was -35C cold, we still had sunshine. Here it just rains, and is cloudy...and rains some more

Anyone have a Sad light? if so, could you recommend one that I can mount on a wall?

    thanks in advance
Working...
