Sounds kool in theory but in reality I don't think it's worth it, I mean think how annoying it is to drive a car in traffic sometimes now make that car a semi truck and do it everyday. Not to mention the stricter rules for people with a cdl. For example drinking and driving, now of course I don't condone driving drunk but if u have a cdl the legal limit becomes a quarter of what it is for everybody else so if u have one drink and are not drunk and not even driving a truck you can get a DUI then u have no job and a lot of problems. Just something to think about

My dad has had his CDL for years now and he says it's the biggest mistake he has made. Honestly don't know if it's just him or the industry.

Unless you own your own rig, it isn't worth it, and when you do own your own rig, you'll need to keep a credit card with $20,000 available balance at all times, you'll have a financed rig that costs as much as a single family home, and you'll spend $30-50 a night for a shower and a warm meal.

But you can pick up underage girls and lot lizards. And moving across the country makes hiding the bodies easier, or so they say on the criminal shows that are on late at night.

Ever since i was a lil kid Ive spent alot of time on the Road.
My dad did alot of business out of state so he would take me on the highway with him.

Since then ive had a Fascination with Big rigs. The Subject has come in and out alot since High school.

Now that im 25,Id like to start getting ready for my life. Finding a Job that will always be here. Truck driving school seems like the right choice for me.

Anyone here a trucker or have family? Thoughts?
