Understood, I would like to go air, but like I said, proper equipment costs money. I don't want a crappy air compressor that's just going to break down. You need to justify it based on your operation and what you do. With air, you can impact, ratchet, cut, grind and drill, and all the equipment is less complicated than electric, easy to maintain, and even easier to rebuild. You can also fill tires, blow off parts, and run a sandblaster.
So yeah...if youre changing a tire once a week and just doing some under-hood tinkering, one of those drill battery guns might be right for you.
But I can still call them gay. :finger:

For the person who is not a serious shop though... ?
The problem I have is dropping money on the proper compressor. Seems like I can just get something electric if it works and not have to spend too much for what I need.Leave a comment:

Nope. You will need a manly compressor/tank too, not some gay 30 gal sippy-cup.
Yup...just like the NASCAR guys.Oh and youre stuck to a hose.
Im not saying there is no use for a cordless impact, but rather pneumatic is stronger, more robust, and simpler in constructionI was thoroughly impressed After using f34rs cordless impact in the junk yard. It's gay like a foxxx.
I dont know of any serious shops that dont rely on pneumatic tools.Leave a comment:

Does that shit work well or not? Shortcomings? I've been wanting one of these for a bit: air, or electric, don't care just don't want junk.
