My dad bought a black 83 rx7 brand new and drove it through my early childhood. Next owner toasted the motor. There is a small possibility that this is the same car 30 years later and I would love to think that this is what became of it rather than being crushed like most cars over 9.5 years old. Think of what a stereotypical 19 year old drives and usually it has a fart can and an auto even if they drive v8's its a beat mustang this thing is rad.

The rat rod theme may be getting a bit passe, but to his credit the guy built what I'm sure it is fun car to drive. We won't all build to suit everyone's aesthetic tastes, but who can't appreciate a scary fast rwd car?

I like his ride, but I always wonder what makes are car like this go so viral? I mean in the years I have spent reading build threads and going to shows I have seen SOOOOOOO many cars with really friendly interesting owners that deserved just as much if not more attention then this kid and his RX7 are getting. Not that I dont think he deserves it, but why this car out of so many other inspiring builds built by young guns with no real money but a lot of talent?
