Sorry to hear, he was a unique part of this community and he will live on in the memory of everyone who saw this thread.Yes, tragic power outage over a very cold night put an end to his digestive system. Power backup system failed as well and that was the main issue.
He seemed fine for about 3 days after the incident (being nosey, roaming around, and eating) giving me no pause for concern.
RIP bud. You'll be missed more than I can explain on the forum.

Just curious, can you safely expose a sloth to snow? If so how does he react? How do they react to cold in general other than just going in to a state of metabolic depression? Pics if you've them.Leave a comment:
