Roda's son and Walker's best friend were trying to pull him out of the wreckage. :(

So sad for his child, and any other family of either of these guys.
Considering its not a clapped out three decade old e30, combined with the fact that the car is notorious for being a tryhard death trap, I'd say driver error is a pretty safe assumption.

filled with flammable liquid and made with flammable composites.

Modern exotics are juts as much of a death trap as past exotics. Despite rising safety standards and gear.

Roger Rodas was obviously a dangerous driver on the streets and willing to take chances. No matter how much racing experience he had. Such a sad mistake for sure.

Definitely a shame, but still... NO reason at all to fuck around on the street. I'm guilty of the occasional pull on the highway, or maybe stepping it up a little on a twisty back road, but talking maybe 6/10ths, and the limits of anything I'm driving are a fraction of what that Carrera GT was capable of.

    Damn shame.

RIP Paul Walker and Roger Rodas.
Looks like they drank their own cool aid. Watched one of the f&f movies and decided, lets take the Porsche for spin and lost the touch with reality
