Wrong, stance is a fitment that has a highly pleasing result. Anyone can slam a car and it will look like shit. Mild drop on proper fitting offset wheels with the correct tires is stance. Just as much as dropping frame and putting the rim 1-2mm from the arches. YES! I said RIM!!!! outside diameter of a wheel.

Fitment is everything. Flush or packing massive tires under the arches. It is not about how low you are.

There is a difference between being stanced and having a stance.
