Don't know what the safety aspects look like though.

Found.
No signs of body work that I could find. 133k, inside the valve cover is spotless. Smooth engine, quiet with plenty of ponies.
Wife loves it, I love it. It reminds me of my mkv GLI in many ways, but with a few more luxury items and a bit more power.
Oh, and no car payments ftw.

Going to test drive a 9-3 Aero 2.8T tomorrow in the 6 speed manual flavor. Wish us luck!
I'm hoping she falls in love, because I get to drive it during the week. Which means for my birthday I chip her car for 300+ hp.

Subaru HG issues apply to normally aspirated only, and were fixed somewhere around 10 years ago.
One data point: My LGT has 140K on 17psi - no issues.
Subies are FAR less refined than Hondas, but nearly as reliable, and less expensive.
Maxima?
Acura CL/TL Type S?

I love it. We use it for all of our daily driving. The model we bought has every option they offered so its pretty nice. Heated and powered everything. The leather has held up amazing, it looks like it is brand new. I like it more than any other car seat I have ever had. The quality of everything feels better than the other European luxury cars I have owned. The car is pretty quick for a 4 door sedan. I know I there people on the Saab forums that with minimal work have them in the 300hp plus range. I haven't had any issues finding replacement parts for it. The only issues the car has is with the amount of heat it creates. It kills batteries faster and and kills the vacuum lines too. I just replaced both last month. Other than that I have had zero issues.

I'm sure they made enough that parts won't be THAT hard to come by.
Also, many parts are GM. Same situation as my Trooper.

aren't the Saab's gonna become scarce for parts soon?
I know the Saturn Astra has hardly any new replacement parts since Saturn went under

Hello! I am currently selling my GF's Saab 9-3 Aero. It is a 2006 with the 2.8T 6 cylinder engine, but it is the 6 speed with flappy paddles or the option to use the gear shift so not a true manual. She was the second owner. It is a southern car with absolutely zero rust. It just hit 71k miles the other day. Well maintained. If you want more detailed information let me know.

I am on a mission for a 9-3 Aero with the 2.8T and a 6 speed manual transmission.
She is pretty set on a Saab after driving some other cars, and I just found out about the v6 models. Talk about wolves in sheep clothing.
