1979 Chevy Malibu 4dr 6cyl AT, faded to baby blue. $350. Didn't give a shit, it was Senior year(95/96) and I needed a car. Belonged to my neighbors, original owners. He told me it burnt oil, so I said 'Ok', as in 'I don't know what you mean but Ok'. Eventually knackered the rod bearings, almost didn't make it back from McDonalds on one day on a free period. My Mechanic drained the oil, found barely a Qt. in it. He put some used oil in it but it was too late.

First car that was truly mine was a 1997 VW Golf GL in February '98 with the 1.9L non-TDI engine. Had it for almost 6 years and 255K km. Loved that car and it treated me pretty well. Miss having a diesel.
