The Sam's club I'm at already confirmed they recieved 2 that are currently present in their possession. The manager confirmed to us before he closed the store that they definately had them and if we are still here in the morning they belong to us.

So I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to be coming home with one in my hands.

So I was curious if the locals around here were actually camping out for this thing, each of three wal-marts in my town had 25+ camping out, and bestbuy had 50. I went into the wal-mart closest to me and here's the shitty thing they did, they let these thirty some odd people camp out for 3 days, and only delivered a few. So most of these people came up empty handed. The decent thing they did is this particular walmart isn't a 24hr supercenter, but closes at midnight, so the few people who had dibs got rainchecks at 11pm and were told to come back in the morning to pick em up. The electronics guy said he was told by management not to disclose quantity. sheesh.

Checking in guys..

Froze my balls of all day. Few people showed up but left since we are the first 2 in line. One guy tried to buy our spots in line. Other's tried to deter us.

We look like hobos out here and all the old people keep gawking. Plan on watching some TPB till 7AM. Store maanger came out before close and said that as long as we are still there at 5AM he will go ahead and give us the tickets for them.

Weather sucks. Been raining the whole time and it'ssupposed to start snowing a little after midnight. Wish me luck!

Yeah, unfortunately. The problem is that he probably did something along the lines of what I said in my post above, bidding a high price that they didnt really want to pay, but thinking that it would stay within the ordinary price range 2-3ish i think, but someone else did the same and that could have been the result (Dont ever secure an auction by bidding way too high so it would be "impossible" for someone else to outbid you.....)

Humm.... nevermind on that. I just looked at the bid history and it appears he just kept upping his bid AFTER all the other bids were in place. Either that was another ID of the seller or that buyer is on crack.

I agree that auction is probably bullshit. However, it wouldn't surprise me that sometimes someone may bid some extreme high price to "be sure they win" and someone else had already doesn't the same thing making it way more expensive than either expected. Or, just a bunch of no good going on. They're going for about 2-3k I think.
