So, this semester I decided to pledge a fraternity, and as a pledge I get a big bro and a big sis.
Long story short, your big bro and bis sis and supposed to make you a paddle and decorate it up for you. Most people just go to the store, and buy a precut paddle and precut letters and glue them on... Some people make up a custom one.
Here is the "paddle" I got from my big sis :
