Is this Jordan's whip?

It's a nice well built car. Is it worth $20k? no. But all the cars at Mcars are way overpriced. I'm sure you could get the price down if you were serious about the car.... but I doubt any are ;) -
I would certainly hope many of you wouldn't buy an e30 (other then an m3) if you had 20k laying around.Leave a comment:

Weird, I came to the same conclusion. I think having his mom's e36 around kinda affected his choices....It's funny because IICRC he used to put down e36's but I find it ironic that his e30 slowly turned into one, e36 seats, side skirts, rear valence, wheels, 5 lug swap, etc...I think he had e36 envy from the get go. I totally agree with you on the looks, it doesn't flow for me.

I'm biased - but:To be honest TJ, and not to slam you, it really depends on who it's worth that much to. I think if I had the money to spend on such a car, I would buy this instead of an M3. And no, not just because it was Jordan's. Because it would be damn near impossible to find an M3 in as good of condition as this car, and because while M3's are the fucking business, when something goes wrong with it, and it will, Jordan's car would cost a hell of a lot less to fix than the M3.
Maybe I'm crazy, and I could be wrong, but that's just my thoughts on it. At this point, the only thing an M3 has on this car is fender flares and an S14. Now while I know people will say that's what matters, I guess all I can say is different strokes for different folks. I also don't think I can fully explain what I'm trying to say, lol. :D
- it has lower production numbers; you don't see jordans car on the cover of hemmings motor news do you?
-It's not impossible to find an m3 in this condition, but you're going to have to pay out the ass for it. I will agree that you will not find an m3 as clean as that car for the money, but you have to pay to play if you want to buy one of the clean ones that are out there.
- I agree on the fact that the car would cost a whole lot less to maintain, as shit does break and does happen. However, cost shouldn't really be an issue since we're talking about pristine examples - right? cost just comes with the territory...
- I think the car is pretty tastefully modified, personally. I know it was done right (at least 90% of it) and that's more than one can say for 99% of the cars on the road. Truth be told it does weigh a lot with all the add-on's, and 'the motor doesn't totally make up for weight... Maybe I am jaded about this, but doesn't anyone else look at it and say, "that's a really nice modded 87' 325is"? Truly, that's exactly what it is. My parents have one sitting in their driveway. It's a fun little car, but it's an 87' 325is with a bored out motor and a body kit and it's extremely clean (by clean i mean dirt free).
- as always, something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I have no problem with him asking outrageous prices - it just made my car more valuable.Leave a comment:

If you look at the bottom of the car it looks allright. You look at the top, allright. Put them together....? Aaaagghh!!!
One reason I'm into my E30, is I like to look at it. I kinda think it has a squareish muscle car look. Done right they look like German muscle cars...straight lines. E36's are curvy and you may like them but there rounded body design doesn't fit well with this e30. Maybe if the moldings weren't shaved it would be better but I doubt it. It's probably a blast to drive but aesthetically the car is ugly.

Allright. I like those on some cars but...Maybe it's the shaved moldings. Some cars can pull it off but it gives this car the sentra look. The reason why has to be those side skirts. I just don't see how some people think this car sets any standard. There are so many cooler member cars than this.
Looks like a Sentra.Leave a comment:

been there, seen that
I've seen this car in person, ridden in it for quite a few hours too. It's damn near top notch. I wish I had the millionaire status so I could buy it for kicks along with more e30's. I know not everyone loves Jordan, but in person he was so much different from online... he was a chuckle-head (not a serious, mean-faced person) sitting at the computer talking shit and pissing tons of people off and sharing his often unflaterring opinions. He sure helped me out a lot when I needed it. I think it's a shame he didn't keep it AND the m3 he's got. That's not nut-swinging, it's the truth. Enough beating the dead horse though I guess. </rant>
There are just some cars (like matt's turbo and James Criv's resto, and many more) that I just wish would stay in the same caring hands forever. I hate seeing people pimp-and-drop cars.Leave a comment:

I don't get it. I don't know Jordan and I have nothing against him. this is purely about the car. I'm sure it's got cool mods and is built with extreme care and detail....
That car is ugly. It looks way more like a pep boys modded Sentra than it does an e30. That's what I see every time I come across it. The thing doesn't look right and it not just the shaved trim, I can deal with shaved trim if done right. I thinks it the funky side skirts and rear wingz:up:
I'm guessing with great guts it's worth something but it still looks like a Sentra.Leave a comment:
