Hey man, I got a D in a math class my first quarter at WWU and I didn't quit I am just now retaking the class (currently getting a B). It is tough to man up and just get it done even if it is hard. I am doing much better knowing that I can't treat college like HS. It is a lot more work. I am glad that I did poorly early on so I could figure out how to change how I was doing things.Leave a comment:

why? it's the truth. you'd like a happy "it's alright, it's okay"? that may have worked in middle school, but equate is nearly the real world where things aren't a game any longer
if you don't make it, you almost got your shit together. take community college classes and get back in, and finish and prove you can. either way, it's a going to be a strong lesson of how to take school, and life, seriously. that's valuable.

Wtf, what the hell do you think I am doing? If I failed every class this semester I deserve it, but I didn't, I'm so damn close to a 3.0 it just sucks.
I'm not looking for a shoulder to cry on, I'm just damn pissed right now because everything was so good now its all fucked again.

So 24 credits first year and you pulled a 2.8.
You completely failed every one of your 15 credits this past fall.
You are taking 15 credits this semester and were good until you fucked up with the presentation, etc. Close enough?
I hate to say it but even as a freshmen departing from campus for the summer I know college is practice for real life, so get your shit together already. You want to prove yourself, so start trying harder or start trying something else.
There's always CC if you want to get back into school and finish your degree after you pull your grades up and get readmitted, but don't take grades for granted ever. You earn what you learn.Leave a comment:

I am also on academic probation, but it has a lot to do with stuff that way way beyond my control in the way of family issues and shit. It sucks... DAMNIT I hate school
This is so bad, every single class 5 points or so either means a passing or failing school.
If I don't get a 3.0 I get kicked out of school.
I am waiting on one class right now, I got an A on the final with the most amount of points I can lose lost. 32/33. If I don't get 15/15 on this last assignment I get a 79%, If I get a 15/15 I get an 80%, one point lost and I lose my B.
This seriously sucks so hard, I have been sitting in front of my computer for 3 hours waiting for grades. This class has my whole education riding on it, if I don't get a B in this, I won't make my 3.0 GPA.
To make things even more fun I have to get a 26/25 on my last ethics paper which is impossible to say the least. Even if I get a 25/25 (which I can do) I am still ONE FUCKING POINT away from my C I need. I am going to have to beg the guy to give me one more point on participation or something to make my C.
Biology I almost have in the bag, if I get an A on this last final I get an A in the class.
Finally anthropology, I totally fucked myself on this one. I had a presentation I totally forgot about so I fell to a C. I NEED to get 130/150 on my semester paper, 100/112 on my final, 38/40 on my last test (which I took 3 weeks ago but she hasn't posted my grade) and SOMEHOW get 50/70 on my presentation to get my B back.... I am just going to have to beg her to let me write a paper or something to get partial points back.
I am so unbelievably stressed out right now you have no idea, if I fuck ONE THING up I am totally fucked.
Seriously I hate school so much. I totally fucked up last semester and it just tanked my GPA, I have had a 2.8 my whole time in college but last semester knocked it down to a 1.71 so I am on academic probation. The only way to break a 2.0 is to get a 3.0 this semester.
