    still... pretty ludicrous statement.

My heart goes to the Euro e28 M5 (I find the US one ugly with its picnic tables at each end) but the e34 M5 is a supercar too. In fact, I would like to own the e28 M5. But daily drive the e34 M5 Touring.

    I'd hit it.

To me, the best M5 ever built. E28s are nice too.

The graph shows a 3.8l s38. If we consider that a 3.5 M30 has maximum 225ft.lbs torque at 4000RPM and that on an S38, 225ft.lbs is reached at only 1700RPM, I have difficulties accepting that the M30 has more torque, even at low RPM.

The m30 is just more torquey. and with some minor mods, maybe a couple thous shaved off the head, will keep up with the s38 and is FAR less to maintain. Similar to the s14 they require lots of money to be used as intended.

I only am implying that an increased compression m30 3.5 (3.8 would be sex) would make that car perfect.

Saw that on eBay maybe 6 to 8 months ago. Surprising it's still for sale.

Cary, that is the M5 we showed eachother at least a few weeks ago when it was on ebay before. As it was said, its in Canada, and was imported there IIRC. Basically impossible to make legal here I think.
