I completely disagree. They do tons of guitar "stunts". That does not make them awesome. It doesn't get much more lame then Pop Power Metal IMO. You want technical music? Listen to Psyopus, Necrophgist, and Dillinger Escape Plan. DragonForce is mainstream pop. No offense.

Fun to listen to and WAY fun to see live, but I pretty much agree. I like them, but they aren't any incredible band.

Go see The Dillinger Escape Plan live, if you want to see technical metal, for sure. Those guys are nothing short of amazing.

I had some good times at Dead shows back in the day when I was in College.

Err, I should correct that, I had some good times at some parking lots and camping areas outside of Dead shows. Never bothered to actually see the show. I was just there for the party.
