Pepsi probably had some other formulas for soft drinks that would be hard to market. I like MD livewire but it tastes nothing like the original. So they probably used name/brand recognition to see how well it would go over. I am sure that MD Livewire by any other name would not have sold.

Code Red is just plain OK. Its not bad and I drink it quite often but I am not impressed with it enough to choose it over original or Livewire. Baja Blast was another "just ok" flavor but it was nothing like the other 2.

I love regular mountain dew. Everything except livewire tastes like crap.

For some reason we don't get livewire here anymore, really pisses me off because I love it.

Walmart & Rite-Aid carry it in 12 packs. I had to hunt too after they sort of "killed" it last year. Look around, you'll find it.

I always have Diet Mt. Dew cans on hand at all times. Baja would rake in so much cash if it werent TAco bell exclusive. The dark/grape one was nasty though, that sour bullshit was gross. I love both amp'd energies, theyre the shit, too bad theres no diet.

I have distant relatives in Georgia, I visit them every couple years & they always send me canned stuff like pickled figs & peaches.....mmmmmm. And when I'm done eating them, I got another drinking cup.

I got nothing against the South, I actually prefer the pace of life to the PNW.

I was born here in WA, but I nearly bet I'll die in the South.

And red is a flavor, you know you know what I'm saying too - so don't even pretend.

Where do I get this new Dew? Love the red and loved the grape. Grape was so good!!! The Baja Blast is horrible.
