Basically my old avatar described all of what you just said. I like how the cross was being used as a weapon, as if they were holding the man hostage with their "crosses", as I feel they have done since they started their global domination/crusades. I felt it was making a clever point about our favorite religion here in the US, and most of our western world. From the outside, Christianity/Catholicism isn't so pretty in regards to all the countries and communities they've taken over in the name of Jesus. The "join or die" mentality used in those days is just too Nazi-Germany for me (not that they openly use this mentality today). Especially if you don't believe in their views.

But you did bring up a great point... it's not my place to make a judgement about that on a car forum. It's offensive to the people who believe in Jesus even though it's the sad truth of their religion's past. I felt like a hippocrate and an asshole. Thus the removal of the avatar. I hardly would ever call the Christian "Crusades" of the Middle Ages, or most "missionary work" remotely respectfull of other peoples' views - I'm well aware of how Protestant Christianity has been nearly a push as far as the amount of good vs. bad it has done in the greater picture.
