Parts guys get 20$ an hour? what the fuck. How brainless can that job be, match part to part number. voila. -

Which bolts are you talking about? The bellhousing bolts or the mount bracket bolts?Leave a comment:

After having to explain 5 (yes, 5) times to the parts monkey this weekend what I wanted when I said "transmission mounting bolts", I sure as hell hope it's a lot less than 17/hr.

Just talked to the parts manager today, and he said Im at the top of the list. There is going to be an opening soon... And hes going to quit in 6 months to get a job in law enforcement. That'd give me 6 months to prove myself enough to take his job over lol.Leave a comment:

I hope I got this job. For some reason out of the blue today I got fired lol. Because I make too much money (allegedly). Im assuming/hoping BMW called my work, and asked for a heads up. And being the beginning of the fiscal year, they decided to cut my loose now. Kinda shitty, but at least Im out of Napa.Leave a comment:

I know he was talking about the SF dealer. I should have been more specific with that statement I guess. Coast BMW here in SLO is not family owned, is what I meant.Leave a comment:

It depends on what specific department you work in, as well (ie, wholesale, bodyshop, retail, etc). Retail is probably the paid the least out of those, at least from my experience. That being said, it's an awesome job.
Cary was referring to BMW of San Francisco.

Its not family owned. They run BMW on one side, and Nissan on the other side of the complex. As far as internet sales, I think coastbmw.com has car sales for nissan and bmw. They SEEM decent sized.Leave a comment:

Really depends on what part of the country you're in as well as how big/popular the dealership is .
Also it really helps if they are up with the times and sell online .
I was offered a position back in '05 by Classic BMW in Dallas and would have broken $50k in the first year .Leave a comment:
