Crazy bastards, too bad they probably won't be walking after the age of 40.

And blunt, if skaters are tearing up your rails either buy a rail that have those metal balls welded onto them every few feet, that'll stop it real fast. Or just have them welded on.
A prettier solution is to put a giant potted plant at the bottom of the rail.

Skateboarding is not a crime wasn't a brand - it was a santa cruz shirt IIRC.

oOPS.... I edited instead of replyed. I wasn't sure of the brand, but your right, it was Santa Cruz that made those shirts...

Aren't the 2 the same? Every time I go to the park I used to manage these kids have like 25 new tricks - and I struggle to do the same shit I've been doing for years. I've been skating at least 13 years now.

Glad you are still riding. Actually if you ride Ipath than you probably know about Satori. Good wheels by a long time friend from back here. Check them out if you haven't already. Also check this out http://ruinboardshop.com/ My best friend's shop. If you are ever in Atlanta, swing by and he will take care of you. And then we will get beers.

no, didn't mean it that way actually, i have alot of hobbies. i just meant people who have no clue how to have a good time. and yes, it is just like any other hobby. if you have something you love, and let it drive you in life, then that is great. guess that was my point.

I think a Midol will do my friend. I think we can both agree that this is what makes this "E30" forum interesting!

what a stupid fucking statement. because i never skated i will never enjoy life to the fullest?

im glad you found your passion in life. im also glad you have respect for others stuff.
I think he means finding a passion. I don't think he means just skateboarding. I have found snowboarding to be much more relaxing and actually better on the body. Plus I dont destroy any private or public property. I have been to jail for that Blunt and I deserved it. i broke the law. It got thrown out of court, but I do agree. Which is why skareparks have become so popular. The problem is like the first picture, there is something raw about that gap. It isn't perfect like a skatepark. It is hard to get to and the landing is pretty beat up. That is why we do it... or in my case did it. I pretty much ruined myself skateboarding. You and alot of people will agree that I deserved it, and I did. The sad think is I ended up turning my right foot backwards, breaking that foot, my leg , and my ankle. I had three surgeries to restore the ligs and tendons I snapped. I have to stretch my ankle every morning before I get up, and the best part is I did it in a Vans skatepark. I know you wish you could have been ther, you would have laughed as hard as I did when i saw my leg... for different reasons I am sure.

i'm 24, married, and work a solid 50hrs a week. still find time to skate at least twice a week. it's very relaxing, and the only thing that clears my head more than anything. i know ALOT of people in the skate industry, most of which make a good living off of it, and AREN"T dicks. sure little kids messin up your curbs are one thing, but there's alot more to skating than that, it's just all in a world you'll never see. and i'm not talkin about that x games crap..
i respect other people, and property to a very reasonable extent, as do most everyone i know and skate with. but death to all the white collar wannabes that have nothing better to do than be douchebags.

i get free shoes and you don't :P

without skating i probably would of been into who knows what kind of trouble as a kid. instead i was perfectly content just skating anywhere.
because of skating i've skated amazing spots from the east to the west coast, traveled tons, seen amazing things, and met amazing people.

some of you guys will never get it, and that is understandable, as you are the ones that will never enjoy life to the fullest.

It's called a hobby. Some people race, some skate, some snowboard, some read, etc... Skating is no different then any other hobby. Don't make it sound like anyone who doesn't do it, isn't living.
