I'm not really in that industry anymore, although I do meet all the reqs to join SAG... anyways, usually, all the filler cars will be done by a separat specialty casting company which will start by contacting car clubs or visiting car shows like HIN.. then, if they have to, they will take a trip to Japan or wherever to get "authentic" cars (such as all the micro-compact cars and the signal R34 and S15's in Tokyo Drift)... so having individual filler cars.. that's usually not something they do. besides, they'll ahve a whole parking lot filled with the extra's cars to use. :-P

once my business gets more streamlined, I am considering going back into that industry for shts and giggles... it's fun, especially if your livelihood does NOT depend on it and you're sag... (a tent full of goodies and premium meals vs costco snacks and bottled water) hehe

Shucks- if you wanna see something interesting, create a F & F featuring semi trucks. That has been a competitive auto sport for quite some time now. If you think that ricers going down the strip at 100 MPH is exciting try a Peterbuilt and a KW going neck and neck at that speed.

Oh come on, at least it's real people doing crazy stuff... I think it's entertaining as hell (if you just FFWD through the party scenes).

    Not even the same thing...

I waste a tiny bit of time on myspace, but the fast and furious movies are seriously fucking garbage.

When there is good entertaining stuff out there like the Mischief series or Victory by Design, I honestly can't see how anybody doesn't just rotate those through their DVD changer 24 hours a day!

Why not if they are making money off of a no budget film.

I just want them to film one with some rock crawling buggies, may not be 'Fast or Furious', but fun none the less.

I'll have to try the 3rd - I passed on 2&3 after seeing 1. Sounds like 3 is fun though.
