You really don't ever see rural NJ portrayed in popular media. There's alot of places in NJ that anyone would consider the "boonies." -
Only place in NJ I've been to is Haddonfield (I think that's the name). Drove there with my brother to drop off a car he sold; realllly nice little town. I slept on the drive there so I didn't notice much else.Leave a comment:

I've been to a few places in mid- NJ (I dated a chick from there, so I'd fly up there or drive every so often). It was really pretty there in the rich parts, but there's not much in S Jersey and N Jersey smells like shit.
Oh, and I hated the boardwalk. http://youtube.com/watch?v=4JMOh-cul6M is all you need to know about the boardwalk.Leave a comment:

I've heard NJ is just a big shopping center now.
I'm from TX and if I travel out of state no one can tell.Leave a comment:

You forgot that lately, sodomy has become a way of life in Texas. Everybody does it.
Just kidding. But in regard of NJ. I have be so brainwashed by all that NJ bashing, that whenever I watch a nerd/looser movie, I think of NJ. And don't forget the Jersey boyz with the stripped shirts and spikey hair, all looking alike...Last edited by Massive Lee; 01-15-2008, 07:53 AM.Leave a comment:

It smells.......Oh wait that's just Newark area. Honestly it was once the Garden state and now it should be referred to as the suburb of Philly. The gardens are gone. Beachs have gotten better, still prefer Va's and Md's over Jersey thou just due to the water is warmer.
On that note Fla is so much warmer.Leave a comment:

It's not true. Most people's experience with NJ doesn't extend beyond a trip from NYC to Newark airport or a quick pass through via 95/Turnpike or the Parkway.Leave a comment:

Good question lol. Always wondered myself. Then again, most people think TX is full of dumbass conservative hicks that ride horses and talk with southern accents.Leave a comment:

Okay. Whenever New Jersey is portrayed in a movie, the place is always described as a dump, populated by pathetic nerds, inbred weird peoples and crooks, usually doing absolutely nothing with their life, and always wanting to "escape".
Is it reality? Why always hitting on NJ? Any reason?Tags: None
