Todays Special was gay as fuck.
Ren and Stimpy had me down and out for hours when the marathons would come on.
And I always remembered watching people climb the Agro-Crag on Legends of the Hidden Temple thinking... Jeez you guys suck. I always wanted to be on that show so I could dominate.Leave a comment:

I was nickhead when i was a kid soo many cartoons and shows I wish i could remember them all but here are the ones I can remember that i loved
Ren & Stimpy
U can't do that on televsion
The Little Prince
The World of David the Knome
Double Dare
Today's Special
...there was one cartoon about some bears that lived in a tree that was very batman-esque, they had a pimped out convertible, they went on missions etc etc. I loved that show. It was like care bears w attitude *not as extreme as the robot chicken care bears, but u get the idea*Leave a comment:

Nope, we don't get that channel here.Dude, just turn on "boomerang", your cable company probably carries it. It's a time warner station, an offshoot of cartoon network. It's all the old Hanna-Barbera stuff from the 50's & 60s, looney tunes from the 20's-50's and the Chuck Jones stuff, it's great. They show it all, not just the more "kid friendly" stuff that usually gets shown for Looney tunes.
It's kind of funny when you watch the 30's era bugs bunny stuff with all the celebrity cameos & references, some of which are actually kinda risque, and realize that it was basically the South Park of its day.

There was just something missing from Road Runner when they didn't show Wile E hitting the dirt. It is sad they had to remove all that stuff. Wabbit Season, Duck Season...
Honestly, some of the newer shows are quite good. Doug was OK, I liked Dexter's Lab, especially the one where he makes himself old and they call him Grandpa the whole show.
Ren and Stimpy made my eyes bleed. Stupidity and butt humor just don't do it for me.
However, every once in a while, Ed, Edd, and Eddie makes me laugh.
Back in my day, Saturday mornings were the only time most of those shows were on. Having them on 24-7 now is mind boggling.Leave a comment:
