My family and I used to live in Paraguay.

Swarms of kids, maybe 30 or more, would run at tourists all at once, beat them to a pulp, take everything, and then dash out; all less than 10 seconds.
I'm talking about youngsters too!

In Rio it's called arrastão, which translates into big dragging. Kids would come down from the hills "favelas" and basically firearm/weapon intimidate their victims into giving up the goods...
