Gets the job done. Can quite easily be adjusted for different tracks and conditions. Puts what weight you have to carry nice and low toward the center of gravity.

Tell you what, just watch some LeMans coverage this weekend and pay attention to the GT1 leaders. Like Audi pwns P1, GT1 is Corvette's bitch.

I actually enjoy their take on Americans. If we can't laugh about ourselves we're taking ourselves way too seriously. And by and large, most US cars aren't exciting enough to do a 30 second blurb of, much less a whole show.

In the episode where they come to the US and travel through the south, the Stig's American Cousin was hilarious. So were the actual events when they painted each other's cars with slogans.

Apparently you watched those shows through the glasses of an american auto worker or a redneck who hates people with accents.

Clarkson finished the story about the viper with "I love this car" and with the Vette he actually chose it as his favorite american supercar. With the Z06 version he spent 8 minutes saying how epic it was and how he couldnt tell why a Ferrari costs so much and then spent one minute saying the Z06 was horrible on the streets and you were better off getting the regular vette for that. Then proceeded to call it a "giant killer" on the track.

Im sorry but lauding a car for 8 minutes and spending one minute on its foilbles is not "tearing it apart."

The episodes on BBC America are chopped up to allow for more commercials. Watch a downloaded version back to back with one on BBC America and you'll see a ton of stuff missing like post-drive reviews and most of the arguments after they all do something together.

I download them as they show and watch them on TV when I want to see a rerun.

They actually liked the Vette on top gear. Problem is there are only abotu 4-5 cars in the US worth testing. We never get the cool shit.

Also, back on the mention of advertising. One reason Top Gear can shit all over a car or a company is because they are publicly funded, tax dollars fund the BBC. That means they dont have to worry about BMW not sponsoring them because they think their cars are ugly.

    Ummm, are you serious?

Haven't been around many Vettes have you? They've always been transverse leaf spring and have kept up with the most potent track machines for decades. Still winning LeMans and GT races everywhere. Crazy design, but you can't argue with a winner.
